The Magical Control Room Guide

What it does: This is a quick look to see if the store is happy and healthy. Red numbers mean we need to work fast and make more candles! This page has **10 important report card grades!**

• **Total Orders:** How many magical packages people bought *since the store opened*. (This is a huge number!)
• **Total Revenue:** How much money the store made *in its whole life*. (We love green numbers! 💰)
• **MTD Revenue (New!):** How much money the store made *just in the last 30 days*. (This helps you track money right now!)
• **Avg. Order Value:** How much money people spend *on average* when they buy things. (We want this number to be BIG!)
• **Active Users (New!):** A pretend number that shows how many people looked at the website recently. (It means the internet is busy!)
• **Pending Reviews:** The number of notes (reviews) from customers you need to read and approve before they show up on the website. (These are your homework!)
• **Low Stock Items:** Candles we are *almost* out of (only 1 to 10 left). (This lights up **ORANGE**! Hurry, make more!)
• **Out of Stock Items:** Candles we have **ZERO** of. (This lights up **RED**! Make these first!)
• **Active Stock Alerts:** The number of people waiting for a sold-out candle. (We need to email them when it's back in stock!)
• **New Inquiries:** New notes from customers that need an answer. (This also lights up **RED**! These come from the Contact Us page.)

What it does: This shows what packages people bought so we know what to put in a box and ship! You see all past orders here.

• **Status:** Tells you if the money is **Paid** (good!) or **Pending** (waiting for the bank).
• **Action: Details:** Click this button to see the secret list of what they ordered and the full address to send their package.

What it does: This is the list of **ALL** the candles and melts! You can change everything here, like a powerful wizard!

• **+ Add New Product:** Click the big button to put a **brand new candle** in the store! You must give it a name, a price, and a picture name (Image URL).
• **Action: Edit (Update):** Click to open a little window to change the **Price** (money), the **Stock** number (how many left), the **Image URL** (the picture's name), or if it is a **Featured** (special) candle for the homepage.
• **Set as Primary Feature (New!):** This is a new, special button you click to choose *one* candle to be the **most important, big candle** on the front door (the Homepage).
• **Action: Delete (Destroy):** Click this red button to throw a candle out of the store **forever**. (Be careful, it's magic permanent trash!)

What it does: Customers send you notes and stars (reviews) about the candles. You decide if the nice notes go on the website.

• **Action: Approve:** Click to make the nice note show up on the website for everyone to see.
• **Action: Unapprove:** Click to hide a confusing or mean note so only you can see it.
• **Action: Delete Permanently:** Click to make the note disappear forever.

What it does: This is the list of people who really want a sold-out candle and are waiting patiently!

• **Action: Email Customer:** Click the button to send a message that says, "Good news! Your candle is back and ready to buy!"
• **Action: Mark as Resolved (Delete):** Click this **after** you tell them, so they leave the waiting list and your list stays clean.

What it does: This is the special mailbox for notes people send from the "Contact Us" page. It holds all their questions.

• **Action: Reply to Email:** Click to send a friendly note back to the customer.
• **Action: Mark as Resolved (Delete):** Click this button **after** you answer the note, so your mailbox stays clean.

What it does: This is a magical button! It lets you change the words and information on almost every page without needing a coder!

• You can change the Homepage big welcome words and choose the special Featured Product ID.
• You can change the About Us story, the Candle Care tips, the Refill Program steps, and the Subscriptions options.
• You can also change the **Contact Page Settings**, which is the secret email address where customer notes are sent.
• **Action:** Click the page name, change the words in the boxes, and click the big **"Save Page Content"** button.

What it does: This tab has strong buttons to make the website fast and safe. It has ALL the tools!

• **PURGE ALL (Cache Flush):** This button tells the website's memory (the "cache") to forget everything. This makes the whole world see your new changes instantly and makes the store run super fast!
• **BUILD NOW:** This button tells the robot to build a fresh, new copy of the store right away. (Use this after changing something big!)
• **Backup/Restore:** These buttons are for the big boss only! **DO NOT** click or touch these. They can erase **all** our candles and data!
